The owner and CEO of Hess Fine Arts and Antiques, Jeffrey Hess, specializes in the purchase and sales and auction of fine art, antiques, and watches. Jeffrey Hess also owns Old Northeast Jewelers and founded Duber time and Ball Watch USA, launching the American version of the original Ball Watch company that launched in 1891, specializing in mechanical watches. Duber time no longer distributes Ball but now distributes more Luxury watches like Muhle Glashutte and MeisterSinger watches. Launched in 1985, Mr. Hess has helped Hess Fine Arts and Antiques generate hundreds of millions of dollars in sales. His fine arts, antiques, and watchmaking expertise have garnered interest from media outlets such as Forbes, Esquire, Cigar Aficionado and a myriad of other Magazines. His accomplishments include co-authoring one of the best-known books on the Rolex, Rolex: The Best of Time with James Dowling. In addition, Mr. Hess taught a class on fine arts and antiques for five years at St. Petersburg College. Professionally, Mr. Hess belongs to The National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors, the American Watch Institute, and the Horological Society of New York. Mr. Hess enjoys collecting watches of course but also writing columns and blogging and collecting fine wine and cars when not working.
